Medicare Part B Enrollment

Due to the complexity of programs and the difficulty of communication, large retiree group health plan beneficiaries frequently decline or fail to enroll in Medicare Part B coverage. This may result in additional costs to the group health plan and/or could cause Medicare premium penalties for the beneficiary when enrolling late in Medicare Part B.

The Voluntary Data Sharing Agreement data sharing process identifies those beneficiaries with Medicare Part A who have failed to enroll for Medicare Part B. Once identified, our staff assists beneficiaries to enroll in Medicare Part B, and we continue to track each application until an enrollment date is confirmed which will eliminate premium penalties and gaps in coverage.
