SSDC manages the entire data match inquiry process for employers that sponsor group health plans and plan insurers by serving as the central collection point for all data match inquiries received from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Once the Voluntary Data Sharing Agreement process is in place, the production of new data match issues will rapidly decline. But the inventory of old inquiries is often quite large for many employers. We manage the process beginning with the initial questionnaire through demand letters and Treasury Department notices. By managing the entire process, we can resolve inquiries quickly and thoroughly, ensuring accurate claim payments and preventing incorrect penalty assessments.
